YO International PSK31 Contest – 201918th edition
Purpose: to work as many stations as possible on the 80 m band, and popularizing of digital modes, especially PSK31, between YO and foreign hams.
Organizer: YO5CRQ.

Date: third Friday of November every year – 15 November in 2019.
Time: 16.00–22.00 UTC.
Bands: 80m band only (3570…3590 kHz).
Modes: BPSK31.
Categories: - Single operator single band (SOSB 80 m) with maximum 50 W output power. Note!: By sending in the log for the contest, the participant declares that he did not exceeded the 50 W maximum power allowed during the contest.
Exchange: - for stations working from YO: RST + serial number beginning with 001 + county abbreviation - for stations working from outside YO: RST + serial number beginning with 001 + DXCC prefix of the entity where the station is located
Please use the correct DXCC entity abbreviation! The reference is the ARRL DXCC List. DO NOT use OTHER abbreviations!! Very common mistakes: MD instead of ER, BL or BY instead of EU, RA3 instead of UA, PL instead of SP, and so on.
QSO points: - each contact with YO stations counts 2 (two) points - each contact with stations outside YO counts 1 (one) point - dupe QSOs counts 0 (zero) points
Multipliers: each different YO county worked + each different DXCC entity worked.
A valid contact means that correct QSO data is present in the logs of both stations, within a 5 minute error limit.
Score: total valid QSO points x sum of multipliers.
Awards: The station classified on 1st place receives a trophy and award. Stations on 2nd and 3rd place receives an award. All participants with at least 10 valid QSOs receives a participation award sent via e-mail in .pdf format. For at least 20 valid QSOs with YO stations you can apply for the YO PSK31 award which cost is 15 lei for YO hams and 5 USD for hams outside YO.
Final scores: will be posted on the website http://www.yo5crq.ro .
Entries: please send your logs in Cabrillo format via e-mail to pskyo @ yo5crq.ro (remove spaces). All entries must be received within 15 days after the contest. In the “Subject:” line of the e-mail please include your callsign. Logs should be sent as attachment to the e-mail, not pasted in the text of the e-mail. The filename of the log should be your-call.log or your-call.cbr.

A list of received logs will be posted on the website http://www. yo5crq.ro updated frequently. If your log does not appear on the page within a few days after submission (lost emails?), please signal this fact via email to pskyo @ yo5crq.ro (remove spaces) to avoid missing from the classification.
All entries are subject to verification. The organizers has the right to disqualify entries not in accordance with these rules, or which are contrary to the spirit of the contest.
